Bluetooth speakers used to be like jelly beans: they were inexpensive, looked the same, and were always of questionable quality. The world has changed. Today, every major audio manufacturer has at least one model, and most have multiple. You’ll also come across some wonderful offers from brands you may have never heard of before.
You’re in for a pleasant surprise if you haven’t listened to a Portable Bluetooth speaker recently. Continue to read it to get our top selections.
JBL Xtreme 2 Wireless Portable Bluetooth Speaker
The boombox design of the JBL Xtreme 2 Bluetooth Speaker screams fun and excitement. It’s a terrific choice for the beach because of its tough, IPX7 waterproof shell, 15-hour battery life, and ability to charge your phone via USB connection – and you’ll find bargains on this model thanks to the advent of the next generation, the Xtreme 3.
Wireless capabilities, on the other hand, have been pared down. Because there is no Wi-Fi, you will not be able to stream music from Spotify. It also won’t allow you to speak to Alexa or Google Assistant; instead, you’ll have to set a button to activate them, similar to how an earphone’s in-line remote works.
JBL Connect+ is the most exciting feature of this otherwise ordinary Bluetooth speaker. Creating a home-based nightclub sound system allows you to connect up to 100 JBL Connect+-enabled speakers. However, this will not work with JBL’s newest Party Boost daisy-chaining technology.
The sound has much boom, but it’s not at crazy levels. That booming, deep bass is also well-controlled. The mids are excellent, and the highs have more clarity than you’d expect from such a device. The JBL Xtreme 2 Bluetooth speaker is a superbly balanced Bluetooth speaker for the money.
Harman Kardon Omni 10+ Wireless with Built-in Chrome-cast Speaker
Stream your favorite music wirelessly across your house and any Harman Kardon Omni+ wireless HD devices.
The Harman Kardon Omni 10+ Bluetooth speaker allows you to set up a wireless HD audio system quickly. It also has built-in access to music services such as Spotify Connect and Chromecast. The Omni 10+ is the quickest method to make your music wireless anyplace in your house, using one or more speakers! It is simple to set up and run.
JBL Flip 5 Wireless Portable Bluetooth Speaker
If all you want is a portable JBL FLIP5 Bluetooth speaker that sounds as excellent as the best you can get for approximately 7200 INR, the significant Flip 5 is hard to beat. JBL’s product sounds fantastic for the money and is capable of withstanding a day in the pool.
The Flip 5 is IPX7 waterproof, with a 12-hour battery life and a USB-C charging connector, allowing it to charge from flat to fully charge in only 2.5 hours. A wrist strap that fits nicely over our hand is a delight to use and rates well for portability. A Party Boost button lets you join over 100 Party Boost-compatible speakers in mono or a couple of two Party Boost-enabled speakers to form a stereo pair.
The sound is surprisingly substantial and nimble, with a nice bass punch and an incredible feeling of openness and texture. You’ll almost likely be astonished by this speaker’s sound capabilities if you don’t mind the absence of an aux-in connector or integrated microphone.
REASONS TO PURCHASE
- Excellent bass and timing
- Excellent acoustics
- Party boost stereo pairing
JBL GO Plus by Harman 3 Watt Wireless Bluetooth Portable Speaker (Blue)
The Go 3 is a small, soap-on-a-rope-styled device with Bluetooth 5.1 instead of 4.1 and a maximum power output of 4.2W, up from 3W in the Go 2. The Go 3’s endurance is the one feature that hasn’t altered. It takes 2.5 hours to charge completely, and you can only get five hours of game play from a single charge.
If you can live with it, there’s a lot to get excited about in the sound area at the level. The added power and revamped design have produced some significant sound improvements, and it’s maybe even cuter than the original. For sound, we scored these iteration five stars. Will five hours be enough for a day at the beach or a leisurely lunch in the park? It’s probably advisable to bring a wireless charger.
